  1. C... WOOT WOOT!

do we want to have a leader or just let the conversation flow?

    ReplyDelete
  2. I say just let the conversation flow, that way we wont have someone dominating

    ReplyDelete
  3. i think mr. kaelin said we could have a leader if we wanted to, but we dont have to

    ReplyDelete
  4. If we get stuck though, somone can just kick start us back.

    ReplyDelete
  5. are we commenting on ch. 9 or 10?

    ReplyDelete
  6. So in chapter nine, marjan comes out of the box and explores the Bazaar. she searches all day for the blind story teller, but cant find him all day. so she begins to ask around if anyone knows him later, she meets a boy who says he knows where he lives.

    ReplyDelete
  7. should we just start on our views of Zaynab

    ReplyDelete
  8. zaynab is in chapter 7... we are on chapter nine

    ReplyDelete
  9. oh never mind. OOPPS! sorry i ment who wants to start the disscusion first

    ReplyDelete
  10. Why do you think she would agree to do this if her foot hurt so bad. i know she likes shaharazad, but it starts to really pain her. also, was it in this chapter where she says that if it werent for her mom, she would be whole?

    ReplyDelete
  11. i think she also wants to prove Duniazad wrong, and that she wants to help sharazad

    ReplyDelete
  12. yeah, she really admires shahrazad, so she wants to help her (so shahrazad doesnt get killed)

    ReplyDelete
  13. Marjan goes to find the Blind story teller, she has trouble finding him in the bazar, she asks if anyone knows the beggar and a boy says he knows where the beggar is.

    ReplyDelete
  14. yah i think that too because if she didnt want to help shaharazad in the beging, than she would hav left by now

    ReplyDelete
  15. Because thn the sultan would start killi again. It is a matter of civic duty.

    ReplyDelete
  16. also, didnt she tell shaharazad about only part of the story?

    ReplyDelete
  17. the boy who lead here to the house was sorta strange but most happened in chapter 10

    ReplyDelete
  18. yeah. when the eunichs pass her on pg 85-86, do you think they were sent by the kutan to find her?

    ReplyDelete
  19. That is why marjan is out of the palace. To basicaly find the rest of the story.

    ReplyDelete
  20. probably, otherwise what would the eunichs be doing in the bazar?

    ReplyDelete
  21. yah but do you guys think she will find the rest of the story?

    ReplyDelete
  22. probably not because she had only been gone for a little bit and the palace is soooooooo big they would usume that she was some where in the palace unless someone told them their plan

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yes, I think she will. In chapter 10 she says she was going to come back to the story teller to learn more of the story

    ReplyDelete
  24. yea but we should talk about marjan. why do u think that she is risking her life for Sh.
do you think that she will die in the end?

    ReplyDelete
  25. i think that she does, because most stories end well

    ReplyDelete
  26. wait, alex, why dont you think so? im not contradicting you, i just really am curious

    ReplyDelete
  27. i was taling about the kuhtuns rr how ever u spell it

    ReplyDelete
  28. Shaharizad would also be covering her back.

    ReplyDelete
  29. btw, i was responding to komal's comment

    ReplyDelete
  30. ok, im kinda confused right now.

    ReplyDelete
  31. There is a lot of suspense in these two chapters

    ReplyDelete
  32. do you think there is any forshadowing in this chapter?

    ReplyDelete
  33. and yeah, there is a TON of suspense!

    ReplyDelete
  34. yee im confused to should we have someone give us something to talk about?

    ReplyDelete
  35. what do u mean by forshadowing

    ReplyDelete
  36. Because someone would most likely have reported Marjan. I also think the Eunichs were just strolling along the Bazaar, not looking for someone

    ReplyDelete
  37. yeah... does anyone have a question they really want answered?

    ReplyDelete
  38. but sophia i think she wouldn't because she probely wont find it in the palace.

    ReplyDelete
  39. the suspense was really good i actually wanted to keep reading most of the suspense was created by the boy

    ReplyDelete
  40. i mean is there any way that you can predict the future of the book from this chapter, samIE

    ReplyDelete
  41. alex i agree. because arent there Eunichs everywhere i think guarding the palace?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Lets talk about what happens when they are planing to send marjan to go fnd the story teller.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what do they plan???????

    ReplyDelete
  43. yeah. the boy was pretty mysterious and kinda vague when he was talking to marjan.

    ReplyDelete
  44. yeah, marjan thought that he was tricking her and she had fallen for the trick. if i were marjan i wouldnt let some stranger take me to find a blind beggar.

    ReplyDelete
  45. does anyone have predictions?

i think marjan will attemp to come back, and will a couple times, but before she heres the rest of the story, she will get caught

    ReplyDelete
  46. They just plan to send her in a broken chest to go into the bazar and find the story teller.

    ReplyDelete
  47. o sorry... i was typing that and didnt see our conversation!!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I agree with you Pauli.

    ReplyDelete
  49. but wouldn't it be obvious if the same chest kept braking?

    ReplyDelete
  50. he was greedy but what i didn't get is that the people she asked turned around said NO i have No idea who your talking about that was wierd

    ReplyDelete
  51. wasnt the boy poor..and hungry?

    ReplyDelete
  52. yah i agree with sophia. because you never really know if she's blind or there just tricking her like you said sophia

    ReplyDelete
  53. yes
he was really greedy to cus he was always trying to take her money

    ReplyDelete
  54. I think Shahrizad would send something else, not the same chest.

    ReplyDelete
  55. on number three, what does he mean by plot hill?

    ReplyDelete
  56. opps i meant if the beggars blind (i didnt mean to say she.) Srry

    ReplyDelete
  57. is it like rising action, falling action, or climax?

    ReplyDelete
  58. w8 who is blind im not following this at all

    ReplyDelete
  59. Either intro, Rsing Action, Climax, Falling action, conclusion.

    ReplyDelete
  60. i think it means like the climax, reselotion, and all that. i think though

    ReplyDelete
  61. o yeah... good point alex!

i think he means (you know, all stories have plot lines) where on the plot line is this

    ReplyDelete
  62. the blind guy is the story teller

    ReplyDelete
  63. the begger is supposedly blind Sam.

    ReplyDelete
  64. oh w8 sry i get it now
i dont think there is any climax yet its just rising and falling

    ReplyDelete
  65. so does anyone want to switch questions yet?

    ReplyDelete
  66. it was very discusting that the streets were all smelly and had animal droppings and stuff on page # 82. thats so nasty that she can smell the sweet also.

    ReplyDelete
  67. otherwise known as the story teller.

    ReplyDelete
  68. rising action, getting rlly close to climax

    ReplyDelete
  69. wow, sophia, we posted the same comment at like the same time

and i think it is still in the rising action, but close to the climax. what do you think?

    ReplyDelete
  70. the guy who lead her to the storyteller??

    ReplyDelete
  71. I dont know. I say were are in the middle between the climax and the intro.

    ReplyDelete
  72. the guy who lead her isnt blind

    ReplyDelete
  73. is the guy who lead marjan to the storyteller blind? cus how could he be blind

    ReplyDelete
  74. yeah, i agree.

do you want to look at number 8?

    ReplyDelete
  75. i think we are getting somewhat close to the climax

    ReplyDelete
  76. ok, the guy who led her isnt blind. the actual story teller is blind

    ReplyDelete
  77. yah. what do you guys think is guna hapen

    ReplyDelete
  78. The author is setting up the story so that either Marjan succeds, or fails. If she fails, Shaharizad and Marjan die.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I think Zayanab is actually marjan's mother.

    ReplyDelete
  80. yes!!!
ok now do u think when marjan gets to his house that he will tell her the story

    ReplyDelete
  81. gud point, alex... i think she might get some of the story

    ReplyDelete
  82. yup. but wouldnt that kind of be like the end of the story?

    ReplyDelete
  83. ok i thought alex said the guy who lead her was blind i got really confused
i think were close to the climax im exited for some action

    ReplyDelete
  84. that was really fun... and yeah, i think she will succeed around the end of the book

    ReplyDelete
  85. no one is answering my QUESTIONS!!

    ReplyDelete
  86. This was a learning experiment. Thanks to all for participating in a positive way. Mr. K
